Create your QR code

A QR code that looks like your brand

Add your logo

Place your logo in the centre. Error correction is raised automatically so the code still scans reliably.

Brand colours and styles

Pick any colour for the code, corners and background, and choose square, rounded or dotted patterns.

PNG and SVG downloads

Download a high-resolution PNG up to 2048px, or a vector SVG that stays sharp on print, signage and packaging.

Never expires

These are static QR codes. The data lives in the code itself, so it keeps working forever, with no subscription.

Links, WiFi, email and more

Create QR codes for websites, plain text, WiFi logins, emails, phone calls and text messages.

Private and free

Codes are generated in your browser. No sign-up, no tracking of your scans, no watermark.

Tips for a QR code that always scans

A beautiful code is useless if it won’t scan. Follow these rules before you print it on anything.

  • Keep the code dark on a light background. Inverted or low-contrast codes often fail to scan.
  • Print it at least 2 × 2 cm (0.8 × 0.8 in); larger if people will scan it from a distance.
  • Leave the quiet zone (the empty border) around the code so cameras can find it.
  • Keep logos to under 30% of the code’s width.
  • Use SVG for print and large formats, and PNG for websites, slides and social posts.
  • Always test-scan with more than one phone before you print in bulk.

QR code generator FAQ

Is this QR code generator really free?

Yes. It is completely free, with no sign-up, no limits on how many codes you make, and no watermark.

Do these QR codes expire?

No. They are static QR codes, which means the link or text is stored in the code itself. They work forever and don’t depend on this website or any subscription.

Can I add my logo to a QR code?

Yes. Upload your logo in the Logo section and adjust its size. The generator switches to the highest error correction level (H), which lets the code be read even with its centre covered.

Should I download PNG or SVG?

Use SVG for print, packaging and signage, because it is a vector file that stays sharp at any size. Use PNG for websites, presentations and social media.

How do I make a QR code for WiFi?

Choose WiFi, enter your network name and password, and pick the security type. Anyone who scans the code can join your network without typing the password.

Why won’t my QR code scan?

The most common causes are low contrast, a light code on a dark background, a logo that is too large, a missing quiet zone or printing too small. Keep the code dark on light and test it before printing.

Is my data stored or tracked?

No. Your QR code is generated in your browser and nothing is sent to a server. Your settings are saved only on your own device so you can come back to them.

Can I change the link after printing?

No. Static codes can’t be edited after printing. If you need to change the destination later, point the code at a page you control and update that page instead.
